TECL may revise and update these Terms of Use at any time without notice by posting the amended terms to the Website. Your continued use of the Web Site means that you accept and agree to the revised Terms of Use.
In the event there are inconsistencies between the English and Chinese Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Information on the Website
1. The information is provided on the Website is for guidance and reference only.
2. TECL strives to ensure that the information is as accurate, error-free and as up-to-date as possible. However, TECL does not provide any warranty concerning the accuracy, details, or the timeliness or comprehensive nature of this information.

As such, the Owner disclaims any liability from any harm which may result from a lack of precision or accuracy in the information which is available on the Website; any damage including but not limited to computer equipment, tablet or mobile phone damage following a visit to the Website; and any harm which may result from a third party fraudulently penetrating the Website.

Premise Terms and Conditions
All persons riding on Hong Kong Observation Wheel (“HKOW” or “the Wheel”) operated by The Entertainment Corporation Limited (“TECL”) and/or visiting its Premise (“the Premise”) at 33 Man Kwong Street, Central shall do so subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Each ticket entitles for one (1) person’s admission only.
2. Unless otherwise permitted by HKOW, all persons riding the Wheel must purchase or otherwise be in hold of a ticket before boarding the Wheel. Tickets must be retained by the ticket holders at all times and presented for inspection whenever required by any staff or agent of HKOW.
3. Tickets sold by HKOW are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-extendable and non-transferable. All tickets sold by HKOW shall only be changed or be replaced at the absolute discretion of HKOW. All requests and applications for refunds must be made in writing to HKOW. HKOW may consider a refund of a ticket only in exceptional circumstances. HKOW reserves the right not to accede to any request(s) for a refund(s) without providing any reason.
4. Tickets may not be resold without the prior written consent of HKOW. HKOW shall retain the sole discretion to refuse entry to any person or to remove any person from the Wheel, without refund or compensation to such person(s), if HKOW reasonably believes that the ticket held by such person has been resold without HKOW’s prior consent.
5. Only ticket holders holding tickets purchased from HKOW’s authorised representatives, agents and personnel will be permitted to board the Wheel. If visitors have any doubt or any query, please contact HKOW’s hotline at 23390777, or email to HKOW at [email protected] or approach HKOW staff at the Ticket Office for assistance. In the event of any ticket fraud, no refund of tickets or entry to the Wheel will be permitted.
6. Large luggage, baby strollers and other bulky items are not permitted on the Wheel and must be stored at the luggage/baby stroller storage before boarding the Wheel.
6.1 Luggage/stroller is accepted for storage upon the condition that it does not contain any valuables; items which might pose threat to third parties or their property; hazardous or radioactive material, explosives or contraband items.
6.2 One Luggage Storage Ticket will be issued for each item of luggage/stroller. HKOW is authorized to deliver the luggage/stroller to any person presenting this Ticket without liability to any person. HKOW has no obligation to make any inquiries about the identity of the bearer of this Ticket.
6.3 All luggage/stroller stored in the Luggage/stroller Storage area is subject to payment in accordance with the Hong Kong Observation Wheel pricelist.
6.4 The fee is charged prior to accepting the luggage/stroller for storage.
6.5 Luggage/stroller must be collected within 60 minutes of the Luggage Storage Ticket issuing time stamped on this tag. An additional fee will be incurred if the luggage/stroller is collected after the above stated time in accordance with the price list set by Hong Kong Observation Wheel.
6.6 Luggage/stroller not collected within seven (7) days from the date of deposit shall be deemed to have been abandoned by you and to become our property and, as such, may be disposed of by us by sale or otherwise as we may from time to time deem appropriate in accordance with our standard procedures for handling lost and found items.
6.7 The Luggage/stroller Storage Service is provided by us for the convenience of our guests. Persons using this service do so at their own risk. HKOW (TECL) is not responsible for and do not assume any liability for any damage to or loss of any luggage/stroller, whether such damage or loss is caused by our negligence or otherwise.
7. Food and beverages are prohibited on the Wheel and/or the boarding deck to the Wheel.
8. Smoking (including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes and electronic cigarettes) is strictly prohibited on the Wheel and the Premise.
9. Sharp objects, weapons, fireworks, glass bottles, flammable liquids or any other items which in HKOW’s absolute discretion may pose a threat to third parties or their properties are strictly prohibited on the Wheel.
10. Unless otherwise permitted by HKOW, drone flying for any use is strictly prohibited in the Premise.
11. No pets or animals are allowed on the Wheel, except for guide dogs, or any other kind of service animals (with valid identification).
12. Irrespective of age (including an infant), the maximum number of persons allowed per gondola is 8. HKOW has the sole discretion to allocate any person(s) in a group to different gondolas and all persons agree and acknowledge that not all the members in each group will be able to travel in the same gondola.
13. Queuing area for boarding the Wheel opens 15 minutes before the designated time slot. Visitors are required to arrive at the boarding deck no later than 30 minutes prior to the end of the designated time slot stated on the ticket. Latecomers will only be admitted at HKOW ’s discretion and subject to capacity.
14. While HKOW will use its reasonable endeavours to facilitate visitors boarding the Wheel according to the designated timeslot, there may be chances that the actual boarding time varies.
15. Persons below the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian of 15 years old or above on the Wheel.
16. Visitors agree to abide by all instructions given or issued by HKOW or its employees at all times. HKOW reserves the right to refuse entry to or require a person to leave the Wheel or the Premise without refund or compensation if such person:
16.1. is suspected of having committed a criminal offence or has behaved in a manner which, in the opinion of HKOW, is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors;
16.2. has used threatening, abusive or insulting words or has behaved in any way which provokes or may result in a breach of the peace, is disorderly or is disruptive to other persons at the Wheel and/or the Premise; or
16.3. is or appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
17. HKOW, will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Wheel is and /or the Premise are open for use during their normal operating hours. Notwithstanding the foregoing, HKOW reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety and/or emergency reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close, postpone, slow down, interrupt or stop any operation or any part of the Wheel and/or the Premise. HKOW shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to the closure, postponement, slowing down, interruption or stoppage of any operation or any part of the Wheel and/or the Premise, including but not limited to any travel or accommodation expenses or any other expenses of any nature whatsoever.
18. HKOW/TECL’s employees or agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect arising, including without limitation any distress, inconvenience or anxiety caused during the course of any trip undertaken and/or during rescue from the Wheel in the event of breakdown or accident.
19. HKOW shall assume all visitors and all persons boarding the Wheel trip are medically fit to use the services provided (including taking a trip on the Wheel and using facilities within the Premise) and/or to access any part of the Premise, and visitors have obtained prior medical clearance (where applicable) before using any of the services or accessing any part of the Premise. In the event visitors suffer from any medical condition that may be triggered by taking the Wheel or using any facilities within the Premise, visitors are advised not to take the Wheel without having obtained prior medical clearance.
20. From time to time HKOW or other authorized parties may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or other monitoring on the Wheel and/or within the Premise which may feature visitors. TECL reserves the right to use these materials in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format.
21. These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, and any claim filed under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong SAR.
Inclement Weather Arrangements
Come rain or shine, the Hong Kong Observation Wheel & AIA Vitality Park will remain open. However, for safety reasons, if the Hong Kong Observatory issues inclement weather warnings, we will respond with special arrangements. These arrangements will be announced on this website as well as our Instagram and Facebook.
Hong Kong Observation Wheel & AIA Vitality Park
Standby Signal 1 (T1), Amber Rainstorm or Red Rainstorm
- The HKOW will remain open.
Strong Wind Signal 3, 8, 9, or 10 (T3, T8, T9 or T10)
- The HKOW will be closed.
- If the T3 Warning is lowered before 16:30, the HKOW will reopen once all safety checks are completed.
- If the T3 Warning is lowered after 16:30, the HKOW will remain closed for the day.
Black Rainstorm
- The HKOW will be closed.
- After all related warning signals are lowered, the HKOW will reopen once all safety checks are completed.
Wind Speed 15 m/s and above or Lightning within 10km
- The HKOW will be closed.
- After all related warning signals are lowered, HKOW will reopen after safety checks are completed.
Events at the AIA Vitality Park
- As the AIA Vitality Park is an outdoor event space, if heavy rain, thunderstorms or other bad weather conditions are forecasted, events at the AIA Vitality Park may be cancelled at the discretion of the organisers.
- We will make the best effort to notify participants via email and social media about any changes.
Affected and unused tickets
- Affected and unused tickets will remain valid for an extended period of 3 months from the day of the inclement weather.
- To exchange your ticket, please visit the Ticket Office on the day of your visit.
- Remember that tickets are non-refundable.

AIA Vitality Hub
We aim to provide a safe space for everyone to enjoy health and wellness activities. And in the interest of the safety, activities at the AIA Vitality Hub may be cancelled during inclement weather. We will try our best effort to notify participants as soon as possible should there be a cancellation via email, and the Hub’s Instagram and Facebook.
Standby Signal 1 (T1), or Amber Rainstorm Signal
- The AIA Vitality Hub will remain open, and all sessions will continue as normal.
Strong Wind Signal 3, 8, 9, or 10 (T3, T8, T9 or T10)
- The AIA Vitality Hub will be closed, and all session will be cancelled.
- If T3 Signal is lowered before 12:00, adult’s sessions from 17:00 will proceed as normal.
- If T3 Signal is lowered after 12:00, all sessions will be cancelled for the day.
Red Rainstorm Signal
- Adult’s sessions will continue as normal.
- Children’s sessions for ages 6 and below will be cancelled.
- If the Red Rainstorm Signal is lowered before 12:00, children’s sessions for ages 6 and below from 17:00 will proceed as normal.
- If the Red Rainstorm Warning is lowered after 12:00, all children’s sessions for ages 6 and below will be cancelled.
Black Rainstorm Signal
- All sessions will be cancelled.
- If the Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered before 12:00, adult’s sessions from 17:00 will proceed as normal.
- If the Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered after 12:00, all sessions will be cancelled.
AIA Vitality Hub Terms & Conditions
The Entertainment Corporation Limited (the “Company”)
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In consideration for the Company accepting your registration for AIA Vitality Hub Service Agreement and your continued tenure, you agree and consent to the following terms and conditions:
1. The Company and/or AIA Company Limited and its respective affiliates, being the sponsor of the AIA Vitality Hub, and its/their respective agents, officers, employees, or advisors (“AIA”), shall not be liable for any actions or legal proceedings due to death, injury, loss, damage or theft to a person or property arising out of, or in connection with, your use or participation in any of the services or facilities of the AIA Vitality Hub (save in respect of death or personal injury arising out of the negligence of the Company, or its staff employed to supervise the AIA Vitality Hub). You hereby agree to indemnify, and shall keep indemnified and hold harmless, the Company and AIA, and all of its/their officers, employees, advisors and agents from and against all losses including any legal costs and expenses and any compensation or costs paid or incurred by the Company, and all of its respective officers, employees, advisors and agents arising directly or indirectly out of your breach of any of the Terms and Conditions contained herein, as well as all claims which may be brought against them by you or on your behalf for any such injuries or claims as aforesaid and all costs and expenses incidental thereto.
2. You and any guest of yours to the AIA Vitality Hub agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions which shall constitute a binding agreement on you and your guests and you and your guests shall be subject to the same limitation of liability as you.
3. You irrevocably and unconditionally waive the benefit of any and all of your existing and future rights in and to any Recordings (as defined below), including performers’ rights, copyright and any similar rights in any and all of your past and future performances, images or works featuring in the Recordings, which may arise under the laws of any jurisdiction, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law. You warrant that any such rights have not been transferred previously, and you shall not purport to transfer any such rights in the future.
PHYSICAL CONDITION
1. You warrant and represent that you are in good physical condition, that you know of no medical or other reason why you are not capable of engaging in active or passive exercise, and that such exercise will not be detrimental to your health, safety, comfort or physical condition. You further represent and warrant that you suffer from no physical impairment that would prevent your use of the AIA Vitality Hub facilities or adversely affect your decision to participate in any activity at the AIA Vitality Hub.
2. You agree that if you engage in any physical exercise or activity, including personal training, or enter the AIA Vitality Hub or use any facility or equipment on the AIA Vitality Hub for any purpose, you do so at your own risk and assume the risk of any and all injury and/or damage you may suffer, whether while engaging in physical exercise or not. This includes injury or damage sustained while and/or resulting from using any premises or facility, or using any equipment, whether provided to you by a trainer or otherwise, including injuries or damages arising out of the negligence of the trainer, whether active or passive, or any of the trainer’s affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns.
3. You agree not to use the AIA Vitality Hub facilities whilst suffering from any infection, contagious illness, disease or other ailment including (without limitation) open cuts, abrasions, open sores or other minor infection, where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of other users.
4. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry to any person for safety, health or security reasons, and you agree to hold harmless the Company and AIA from any and all claims, damages or liability arising from such refusal.
5. The use of all the AIA Vitality Hub facilities is entirely at your own risk. Use of the specialist facilities within the AIA Vitality Hub may result in harm to you, especially if you are not familiar with the proper use of particular facilities. You should not use any of the facilities if you are not sure about the safe and proper use thereof.
6. You confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and expressly consent to the processing, collection, use (including transfer, handling and storage) and disclosure of your personal data and other information to the Company and/or AIA, in the manner described in the Company’s Privacy Policy available at [https://hkow.hk/privacy-policy/], and in the case of AIA, AIA’s Privacy Policy Statement available at https://www.aia.com/en/privacy. You agree that the Company and AIA may respectively update its Privacy Policy from time to time, and that your personal data and other information which the Company and/or AIA holds will respectively be governed by the Company or AIA’s most current Privacy Policy as may be applicable.
7. You acknowledge that the Company and/or AIA will handle and process your personal data (including personal information in relation to your participation in any of the services, events, classes or facilities at the AIA Vitality Hub) in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in Hong Kong.
OTHERS
1. Lost property found at the AIA Vitality Hub will be held by the Company for a period of three (3) months from discovery, after which the Company reserves the right to dispose of the items in any way it sees fit. No claims shall be entertained after this period.
2. The Company and AIA reserves the right to use individual or group photographs, images or likeness or footage captured or recorded of you and and/or your guests for press or promotional purposes in any media whether now known or developed in the future (“Recordings”), including without limitation on:
2.1above-the-line usage with content used in advertising, digital advertising across paid digital/social– content boosted on the Company and/or AIA’s social media channels and over-the-top streaming platforms;
2.2 internet websites (including publicly accessible websites, intranet sites, third party content hosted sites, social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, news websites and the Company and/or AIA’s websites (including making footage or material available for download on those websites));
2.3 television broadcasts and rebroadcasts, web casts, multimedia links, videotapes, CDs, DVDs and electronic databases;
2.4. paper and electronic publications, presentations and promotional materials;
2.5 radio; and
2.6 print and news media.
3. You agree and acknowledge and irrevocably assign, transfer, and convey to the Company and AIA all rights, title and interest in and to the Recordings (including all intellectual property rights thereto), all copyrights and associated rights in any photograph, voice, sound or film recording or in any electronic representation and any other rights therein.
4. You further agree that the Company and AIA will have an irrevocable, perpetual, fully paid-up, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable (through multiple levels of sublicencees), worldwide right and license to make, copy, edit, publish, distribute, play, show, display and otherwise use and make available the Recordings and any works that may be derived from the Recordings, by any means and in any media now existing or hereafter invented, and to authorize others to do the same.
5. The normal hours of operation are indicated at the entrance and on the notice board of the AIA Vitality Hub. The Company reserves the right to adjust the hours or to close all or any part of the AIA Vitality Hub at its sole discretion and including but not limited to cleaning, decorating, repairs, or maintenance, or for special private functions and holidays.
6. The Company shall use commercially reasonable endeavours to give reasonable notice of any lengthening or shortening of such hours and/or the closure of the AIA Vitality Hub.
7. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the AIA Vitality Hub.
8. You may not use the AIA Vitality Hub while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or other mood altering substances.
9. The failure of the Company and/or AIA, and its respective agents, officers, employees, or advisors to enforce any of their respective rights at any time for any period shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights.
10. The Company may, at its sole discretion, amend, vary, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
11. You will be advised of any changes by notification on the notice board within the AIA Vitality Hub.
12. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong (“Hong Kong”) and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
13. If any court or competent authority finds that any provision of these Terms and Conditions (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected or impaired.
14. At the discretion of the Company, a Chinese translation of some or all of these Terms and Conditions may be prepared and published. In the event of any real or apparent conflict arising between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
